************************
Rev Timothy Anthony Bryan was a great man who embodied zeal and commitment to his calling as a
minister in the New Testament Church of God. We grieve for a great husband, best friend and soul
mate to his beloved wife of 15 years Angela who never restricted Tim's calling as he dutifully
lived his charge as an anointed servant of God using his gifts and abilities to uplift, challenge
and inspire us to be the best we could be. We continue to pray for her strength in this difficult
time.
Tim worked for Christian Aid as a design and production manager. He previously managed a small
design studio responsible for producing a wide range of health promotion materials and campaigns
across the boroughs of Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham.
He dabbled in photography as he liked to put it and would spend numerous hours at police stations as
an appropriate adult for youth in problems with the law.
Fluent in gadgetry. Didn’t do tea runs! Involved in a wide range of community and church based
projects including youth work. He played the sax and pretended to play the keyboard, bass guitar and
drums.
Tim was a member of the Herne Hill NTCG, National NTCG Youth Executive member and consultant to many
projects within the New Testament Church of God at the senior level. The legacy he leaves behind is
a rich one, Tim transformed the lives of many people far and wide with the word of God and his
infectious humour that could turn any situation around. Words would fail us immeasurably for
accolades and awards could never truly honour the contribution made by this individual. He gave his
life to God and God used him mightily and we are all the beneficiaries of a life lived 24/7/365 for
God.
On the morning of Tuesday 22nd July 2008, Tim Bryan rose early as he prepared for another day. The
orders he received that day came from on high, Tim was promoted to higher office and the world lost
a great man. His cause of death has not yet been ascertained and we ask respectfully for any
speculation to cease in honour of his wife, family and those that loved him.
Before he died Tim produced a book documenting his love of photography, details will be published
soon and we ask for your support in memoriam.
If you wish to upload a tribute photo of yourself and Tim please contact me through this site.
Angela and family , my prayers are with you at this sad time. tim surley was a well respected brother in Christ. We salute him for his dedication and committement, not overlooking his contributation to all the lives he has touched and inpacked.
my last memory of tim was spencer and i talking at break time
during the convention and what we had ask him to do and the laughter we had. Tim rest in peace we will meet on the other side.
Gone but never forgotten
Tim I don't know what to say..
You've been great for the time that I knew you for..
You even defended me when that lady was being horrible to me and for that I want to thank you for that as you didn't have to..
anyway RIP love from Kyesha
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. We are sorry for your loss.
Special Condolences to Angela, Pastor & Sister Bryan, Patsy, Patrick and extended family
Tim, my life and ministry have been enhanced through knowing and working with you. You inspired not only the youth leader in me, but also the would-be marathon runner! I'll always remember that run we did at the youth leaders' retreat in June. And as for the 'Back to Basics' convention in 2007, well...
You've left a great legacy, and some huge shoes to fill. We may always have questions, but can rest assured that God has every answer, and that 'we'll understand it all by and by'.
My prayers and those of my family, as well as the Brixton District youth and board are with Tim's family, friends, brethren in the Lord and all who mourn the passing of a truly great man.
And God's peace, which is so great we cannot understand it, will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Phil 4:7
Take your rest
To the family and church family, my prayers are with you all. Tim was a shining star and a perfect role model of a young man of God..a willing worker. He will be sadly missed.
You never know the value of someone until ..
The song writer penned : 'By & By when the morning comes, when all the saints will gathering.....we will tell the story of how we overcame & we'll understand it better by & by', maybe then all will become clear, but in the meantime we know that God knows & does ALL things well.
Angela, Tim was a warrior & an worthy Ambassador for Christendom. My deepest condolenses are with you and the Bryan family. Words fail me, but know Tim fought a good fight and is now with the Most High God - and remember tears are a language that God understands.
God Bless & keep you.
Awesome brother
My Condolences go out to sister Angela and family. Brother Tim, you were a goliath, the legacy you have left behind is going to further the kingdom mightly. You were a man full of jokes and laughter, even though I have only known you a short time I miss you so much, but you were a man full of joy so as I write this I write with fond memories of how you made me laugh, so take care until we meet again.
xx
God\'s humble servant
I saw Tim as God's humble servant. He was always on the go doing some great thing in God's vineyard. I got to know him when he was serving on the National Men's Exec. His lectures were always full of humour. In fact I always had a good laugh when he was around. The last time I spoke to him was in Sainsbury's in Broad Street during Sunday lunch intermission, I'm glad I spoke with him. May he rest in peace having now finished his course.
My condolences go to all the Bryan family especially his wife Angela. Also, not to forget the members of Herne Hill church, the National Youth department and his work colleagues.
Convention will never be the same without his camera clicking away!!!
Blessings Rev Steve Barr

We can be sure that our beloved Brother Timothy has gone to that place prepared for him in our Father's Mansion.
