Rev Timothy Anthony Bryan was a great man who embodied zeal and commitment to his calling as a
minister in the New Testament Church of God. We grieve for a great husband, best friend and soul
mate to his beloved wife of 15 years Angela who never restricted Tim's calling as he dutifully
lived his charge as an anointed servant of God using his gifts and abilities to uplift, challenge
and inspire us to be the best we could be. We continue to pray for her strength in this difficult
time.
Tim worked for Christian Aid as a design and production manager. He previously managed a small
design studio responsible for producing a wide range of health promotion materials and campaigns
across the boroughs of Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham.
He dabbled in photography as he liked to put it and would spend numerous hours at police stations as
an appropriate adult for youth in problems with the law.
Fluent in gadgetry. Didn’t do tea runs! Involved in a wide range of community and church based
projects including youth work. He played the sax and pretended to play the keyboard, bass guitar and
drums.
Tim was a member of the Herne Hill NTCG, National NTCG Youth Executive member and consultant to many
projects within the New Testament Church of God at the senior level. The legacy he leaves behind is
a rich one, Tim transformed the lives of many people far and wide with the word of God and his
infectious humour that could turn any situation around. Words would fail us immeasurably for
accolades and awards could never truly honour the contribution made by this individual. He gave his
life to God and God used him mightily and we are all the beneficiaries of a life lived 24/7/365 for
God.
On the morning of Tuesday 22nd July 2008, Tim Bryan rose early as he prepared for another day. The
orders he received that day came from on high, Tim was promoted to higher office and the world lost
a great man. His cause of death has not yet been ascertained and we ask respectfully for any
speculation to cease in honour of his wife, family and those that loved him.
Before he died Tim produced a book documenting his love of photography, details will be published
soon and we ask for your support in memoriam.
If you wish to upload a tribute photo of yourself and Tim please contact me through this site.
One of the master\'s finest
Hi Tim
Been reading a book lately entitled 'Helping People in Crisis'. One theme of the book is that at times of loss it's ok and quite natural to ask the question 'why'? Been doing that ever since I heard you had gone, but I am comforted that you are with our Father God in the comfort of His arms.
My wife Daphne and I said Hi to you just a few days ago at convention but by God's grace to us I hope to chat with you for a little longer soon. Thank you for being Tim!
Angela, be comforted in knowing that so many people loved and still do love Tim; and we love you too. Be courageous, woman of God. Every blessing.
Winston & Daphne.
tim has gone home !
Having met Timothy ,has been a blessing to me and the members of the bibbys lane new testament church in Barbados. His preaching last christmas 2007,playing the drums , taking photographs, his friendship, his zeal and passion for God.To our pastor ,Rev. Pearson Bryan and Sis Bryan, his wife Angela, Patsy, Patrick and the entire family ,our prayers are with you at your loss but heaven's gain
Thankful
'For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.' 1 Corinthians 14:12
Tim carried his camera (Canon EOS 20D), capturing moments in time and making them eternal. Though I've only known Tim for a few years, and though I don't understand why he made his transition from the temporal to the eternal so soon, I thank God for the privilege of knowing him for the time I did.
All flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass...Though this life only lasts a moment, Tim's memory shall last forever; and because He knows Jesus as Saviour, we meet again.
He walked the walk
I am proud to have known such a great man and a loving brother. Tim was a good friend to me and my family. He shall live on in the hearts and minds of all he came into contact with.
My love and condolences to Angela and the Bryan family. God knew when it was time to take his servant home. Gone to soon for us, but just in time for glory.
Dear Brother Tim,
You were truly one of the best! And you know what, you couldn't have been putting it on coz EVERYONE says it. God must be so proud of you that he couldn't wait to take you home to where you belong among angels. I know that if I live my life for Christ half as much as you did, I must make it in. Save my place around your table, which I know has to be massive, so we can share some more jokes.
Angela, my heart goes out to you right now. All I can say is that I am praying for peace and comfort to reside with you.
Comfort in time of storm
Having met Tim at various men's ministry meetings all over the country, I am compelled to say how well respected, inspiring and impcatful he was to those who know him and work with him.
With Tim:
'Never a sad moment'
'Never a harsh word'
'Always a wise word'
'Always thoughtful'
He will be sadly missed.
I take assurance knowing that he has touched the lives of many, and I pray that his family and friends will take comfort in that simple fact.
To his wife:
May God give you peace in this time of storm.

Tim, you were one of the best
Tim shared so much with so many. The excellent publicity material and webpages that promote the Leadership Training Centre are due to Tim's creativivity and diligence.
ButTim was more than his gifts and skills. He portrayed Christ.
We weep with the family but thank God, we weep not like those without hope.
Condolences to the Bryan Family
To the Bryan Family,
Please accept my sincere condolences. I know that your loved one is with the Lord. Take courage.
With deepest sympathy,
Delores.
Tim, you were faithful till the end
I have to pay tribute to Tim for his diligence and selflessness. Tim created a Single Adult Ministry (SAM) page for us on the NTCG site and would always update it with our new events, which was so very helpful to SAM.
However, just this year I was privileged to work more closely with Tim on a major Christian Aid project, Windrush 60th Anniversary, where he supervised the design/production of flyers/programmes and brochures for the commemorative events in London and Birmingham, 22nd June 2008. He did a fantastic job and that material has now touched over a thousand lives. I will greatly miss Tim and I pray that God will raise up more people who serve the body of Christ and the community as effectively as he did.
My condolences to Angela and the family, we are praying for you.
