Rev Timothy Anthony Bryan was a great man who embodied zeal and commitment to his calling as a minister in the New Testament Church of God. We grieve for a great husband, best friend and soul mate to his beloved wife of 15 years Angela who never restricted Tim's calling as he dutifully lived his charge as an anointed servant of God using his gifts and abilities to uplift, challenge and inspire us to be the best we could be. We continue to pray for her strength in this difficult time.
Tim worked for Christian Aid as a design and production manager. He previously managed a small design studio responsible for producing a wide range of health promotion materials and campaigns across the boroughs of Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham.
He dabbled in photography as he liked to put it and would spend numerous hours at police stations as an appropriate adult for youth in problems with the law.
Fluent in gadgetry. Didn’t do tea runs! Involved in a wide range of community and church based projects including youth work. He played the sax and pretended to play the keyboard, bass guitar and drums.
Tim was a member of the Herne Hill NTCG, National NTCG Youth Executive member and consultant to many projects within the New Testament Church of God at the senior level. The legacy he leaves behind is a rich one, Tim transformed the lives of many people far and wide with the word of God and his infectious humour that could turn any situation around. Words would fail us immeasurably for accolades and awards could never truly honour the contribution made by this individual. He gave his life to God and God used him mightily and we are all the beneficiaries of a life lived 24/7/365 for God.
On the morning of Tuesday 22nd July 2008, Tim Bryan rose early as he prepared for another day. The orders he received that day came from on high, Tim was promoted to higher office and the world lost a great man. His cause of death has not yet been ascertained and we ask respectfully for any speculation to cease in honour of his wife, family and those that loved him.
Before he died Tim produced a book documenting his love of photography, details will be published soon and we ask for your support in memoriam.
If you wish to upload a tribute photo of yourself and Tim please contact me through this site.
Another Gentleman bound for God\'s Vineyard.
My friend , and partner in ministry has gone to a better place a little ahead of time. Despite making his mark on our great church he only scratched the surface of time and his potential.
Tim I salute you in every way as we worked to revive the men's department over the previous years. As a fellow scholar in our desired field I applaude you, As a friend to the friendless and dispossesed we thank you, as a none compromising exponent of the gospel of Jesus Christ we thank you.
My friend you have fought a clean fight and you have kept the faith.
To the family and my beloved Angela keep the faith be strong we are with you forever.
one of my top 5 preachers
I remember when I was younger Tim would tell some odd jokes at times and they would go right over my head and he would have to explain what he meant. But there was a time when he was preaching a word and put on a plain white mask while he was preaching. There was no confusion! I understood clearly what the word was. The word came as clear as ever and that is what puts Tim in my all time top 5 preachers. Tim was a great man and an even greater man of God. Tim will be missed by myself and I'm sure many others that have met Tim.

Tim, you were faithful till the end
I have to pay tribute to Tim for his diligence and selflessness. Tim created a Single Adult Ministry (SAM) page for us on the NTCG site and would always update it with our new events, which was so very helpful to SAM.
However, just this year I was privileged to work more closely with Tim on a major Christian Aid project, Windrush 60th Anniversary, where he supervised the design/production of flyers/programmes and brochures for the commemorative events in London and Birmingham, 22nd June 2008. He did a fantastic job and that material has now touched over a thousand lives. I will greatly miss Tim and I pray that God will raise up more people who serve the body of Christ and the community as effectively as he did.
My condolences to Angela and the family, we are praying for you.
Tim was a wonderful asset to our Church Nationally. He impacted the Women's Ministries greatly by his untiring help and support in WEC, Retreats, Banquets and other events. His talents can be seen in our programmes, flyers, tickets and a host of other things. May his memory give each of us focus and determination to impact others as we go through life. Our thoughts and sincere prayers are with Angela, Rev Person & Sister Carmen Bryan, Patrica and Patrick and their families and extended families.
