Rev Timothy Anthony Bryan was a great man who embodied zeal and commitment to his calling as a
minister in the New Testament Church of God. We grieve for a great husband, best friend and soul
mate to his beloved wife of 15 years Angela who never restricted Tim's calling as he dutifully
lived his charge as an anointed servant of God using his gifts and abilities to uplift, challenge
and inspire us to be the best we could be. We continue to pray for her strength in this difficult
time.

Tim worked for Christian Aid as a design and production manager. He previously managed a small
design studio responsible for producing a wide range of health promotion materials and campaigns
across the boroughs of Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham.

He dabbled in photography as he liked to put it and would spend numerous hours at police stations as
an appropriate adult for youth in problems with the law.

Fluent in gadgetry. Didn’t do tea runs! Involved in a wide range of community and church based
projects including youth work. He played the sax and pretended to play the keyboard, bass guitar and
drums.

Tim was a member of the Herne Hill NTCG, National NTCG Youth Executive member and consultant to many
projects within the New Testament Church of God at the senior level. The legacy he leaves behind is
a rich one, Tim transformed the lives of many people far and wide with the word of God and his
infectious humour that could turn any situation around. Words would fail us immeasurably for
accolades and awards could never truly honour the contribution made by this individual. He gave his
life to God and God used him mightily and we are all the beneficiaries of a life lived 24/7/365 for
God.

On the morning of Tuesday 22nd July 2008, Tim Bryan rose early as he prepared for another day. The
orders he received that day came from on high, Tim was promoted to higher office and the world lost
a great man. His cause of death has not yet been ascertained and we ask respectfully for any
speculation to cease in honour of his wife, family and those that loved him.

Before he died Tim produced a book documenting his love of photography, details will be published
soon and we ask for your support in memoriam.

If you wish to upload a tribute photo of yourself and Tim please contact me through this site.

You\'re Truely Missed..........

I started working as a Volunteer for the Lewisham Appropriate Adult Service approximately 9 years ago.
I met Tim when I started there, we were 'New Recruits' at the same time. Our role was to support young people in the Police stations who had been arrested. We also supported those with mental health difficulties and guided them through arrest, interviews and subsequent release.

Myself and Tim studied and grew in our roles, many times supporting each other when we needed guidance. On days when I could not attend he would cover me and vice versa.

I can recall a specific prentation we both done together for the organisation. It was to promote the service and allow others to recognise that the Appropriate Adult Service was there. The presentation was awesome, credit to Tim for his understanding of the 'IT' world and a Powerpoint presentaion which left all in the organisation standing, clapping and demanding an encore!! I smile as I recall the event........

Our passion to help and support young people and those less able than ourselves allowed our paths to cross. I am eternally grateful to have known Tim, a wonderful human being, willing, thoughtful kind and always there to support and assist. I will miss him immensly.

I would like to take this opportunity to send my heartfelt condolences to his family and all his church brothers and sisters. I trust God will keep you strong and comfort you with each passing day. God Bless.

God has called for you

I was so shocked to hear your passing as 3 weeks prior to that i had just spoke to you saying how you haven't change much from back in the days, when we use to have water fights as kids, between me, my brothers, sisters and Patrick. It all seemed like yesterday!!

My deepest condolences to Mr & Mrs Bryan, Patrick and Patsy, you had always welcome our family to your home and looked out for us, God will forever bless you, and to his wife Angela, may God comfort you at this time. We have been parted from a great man, who will forever be remembered in our hearts and in our minds, God bless.

You gave all, and God has rewarded you

Tim, you gave all to Jesus by the way you lived your life and how you've touched the lives of so many different people in your service to God. He has now called you home, and though we are saddened by your early departure, we take comfort that you will forever remain an example of a true champion for God.
Thanks for you support in getting Immanuel Theological College on the international map; and you genuine support and encouragement to June and I as we took up our pastorate here in Manchester.
The members of Cheetham Hill New Testament Church of God appreciate your many years of dedicated service to the kingdom, and offer their prayers to Angela and the rest of the family.
When the history of our church is rewritten your name will be among the great men and women who have given their all to further the cause for which Christ has died.

National Mens Ministries

Thanks for your many years of dedicated service, support and assistance to the National Men's Ministries Department.
The National Directors, Secretaries, Executive Board Members, past and present salute you as a young general of our faith.

Although you have gone on before us you are still in our thoughts. Our last memory of you at The National Convention 2008 was one of laughter and great pleasure, deciding how you could assist the National Men's Department in 2008. You concluded that it would cost us a morning’s breakfast or a trip to Nandos, it was our choice?

We are sorry you have left us but we are assured that you are safe and resting until that final day when we will all be caught up to meet our Lord and Saviour.

May the peace of God be with your wife Angela and the extended family as they miss your presence in their daily lives, but look forward to that day when they will all meet again.

We appreciated Tim's service and commitment to fulfilling the call of God upon his life which he carried out with great courage, determination and love.

May God’s Spirit rest upon all who mourn your sudden departure on Tuesday 22nd July 2008.

Brother Tim, I only had the privilege of meeting you on one occasion- but that was enough! Your gentleness, love and goodness shone through on that occasion. Rest in peace my brother. Lord please be close to Angela at this time of emotional challenge.

Tim, (Rev. Tim) I am so grateful to God for your life, we have shared so many great times together both socially and in your ministerial office. Bryan, Patsy, Patrick and the rest of the family, your strength cometh from the Lord.

Like most people who knew you , I never expected that you would leave this world so young . As so many have said what a role model . It's true that amidst the sadness of death , the true character of a person can be seen, perhaps it is because a picture of our lives that are so much like jigsaws come together as everyone who knew us brings a piece of the jigsaw and allows us to see the whole picture. We are called to be Christ like and I can honestly say that in the fourteen years I knew you I witnessed many examples of you living the word , stopping to offer help when you could have so easily continued on your way, going beyond the call of duty especially for those who were weak and in desperate need of help. A real good Samaritan.

Time often feels so short and contemporary living often means that we attempt to cram many activities into a short day . However, as precious as time is you loved your neighbour , served people and loved the church and selflessly gave your time to help others. One day we are all going to have to give an account of our lives and stand in front of an awesome God . I know you boldly approached the throne and your life and purpose will mean that many others will be able to approach the throne boldly as well.

Our lives are like mist and in the twinkle of an eye we shall all shortly be standing in the presence of God to! I look forward to seeing you again .

My heartfelt condolences to Angela , and family

You\'ve Made It - Well Done Timothy!!

It was a pleasure to have been around before and at the start of your ministry. I remember that you and I taught Sunday School Class together and it was a pleasure or so much more than that. I am also, so glad you were a part of my wedding day (a very special day) - as one of my handsome groomsmen - I'm so glad I optimized the opportunity.

Since my second home is now Jamaica now, I haven't been around to witness you as your ministry took off - but from all that I heard, I know you have done everyone proud - especially your parents, siblings and your wife.

Your memory will always live on in our hearts - you sure were an example that it is possible to serve Christ and maintain your dignity, integrity and reputation as a child and a man of God.

To Sister Bryan (you were there for me when I needed someone to understand and I know for sure God will be there for you - HE hurts when we hurt and HE cries when we cry)

To Pastor Bryan (as one of my pastor's you served as a role model of fatherhood and I know your Heavenly father will not forsake you at this time, especially now - be strong).

To Angela, Patsy and Patrick (the pain you feel must be oh so indescribeable - but please hold on HE will see you through) - continue to trust HIM.

Love you all and you have been (and will continue to be) in my prayers.

Love from Delicia, Desmond, Daniel (17yrs) and Dwayne (12yrs)
