************************
Rev Timothy Anthony Bryan was a great man who embodied zeal and commitment to his calling as a
minister in the New Testament Church of God. We grieve for a great husband, best friend and soul
mate to his beloved wife of 15 years Angela who never restricted Tim's calling as he dutifully
lived his charge as an anointed servant of God using his gifts and abilities to uplift, challenge
and inspire us to be the best we could be. We continue to pray for her strength in this difficult
time.
Tim worked for Christian Aid as a design and production manager. He previously managed a small
design studio responsible for producing a wide range of health promotion materials and campaigns
across the boroughs of Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham.
He dabbled in photography as he liked to put it and would spend numerous hours at police stations as
an appropriate adult for youth in problems with the law.
Fluent in gadgetry. Didn’t do tea runs! Involved in a wide range of community and church based
projects including youth work. He played the sax and pretended to play the keyboard, bass guitar and
drums.
Tim was a member of the Herne Hill NTCG, National NTCG Youth Executive member and consultant to many
projects within the New Testament Church of God at the senior level. The legacy he leaves behind is
a rich one, Tim transformed the lives of many people far and wide with the word of God and his
infectious humour that could turn any situation around. Words would fail us immeasurably for
accolades and awards could never truly honour the contribution made by this individual. He gave his
life to God and God used him mightily and we are all the beneficiaries of a life lived 24/7/365 for
God.
On the morning of Tuesday 22nd July 2008, Tim Bryan rose early as he prepared for another day. The
orders he received that day came from on high, Tim was promoted to higher office and the world lost
a great man. His cause of death has not yet been ascertained and we ask respectfully for any
speculation to cease in honour of his wife, family and those that loved him.
Before he died Tim produced a book documenting his love of photography, details will be published
soon and we ask for your support in memoriam.
If you wish to upload a tribute photo of yourself and Tim please contact me through this site.
Tim, you will be greatly Missed
Our sympathy goes out to Sis Angela and the Bryan family. Indeed Tim was a mighty man of God, an ambassador for christ, you will be truly missed.
The days when we grew up in convention and VBS were the good old days and I will always cherish those days. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all. God will sustain you to bring you through such a difficult time.
God Bless.
I have known Tim for many years working with him in National Mens Ministry. I always found him hardworking, proffessional and inspirational as a man, husband and minister.
I am no longer a member of NTCG and now worship elsewhere. However, I am extremely saddened to hear the news and pray for the family and wider circle of close friends.
I look forward to seeing you once again and thakyou for being you! Truly a Man of God
Michael Watson and Family
A Blessing.
Many lives have been enriched for knowing you. Many persons no doubt, are each examining the deep and positive impression that you have left on their lives. We join them in thanking God for the blessing of your life.
Our Deepest condolences to Angela, Reverend Pearson Bryan and Sis. Carmen Bryan, to Patrick and Patsy and the entire Bryan family. God is with you all.
Simply a great gentle guy
I have very good memories of Tim as he helped the Christian Aid Scotland team design a new Scottish activist magazine. He exuded a calm grace, patience, good humour and a fine eye for detial. Just astounded that he has gone and am sure he will be hugely missed by those near to him
Inspired
I never met Tim, never saw his face or that of his family until I logged on to this website, but I have a friend whose life has been deeply touched by him and I know she feels truly blessed to have known him and his family. Through her and the words and emotions displayed here, I feel blessed and encouraged to know that despite all thats wrong with the world, this man managed to remind and encourage those he met of those things that are true and right, through the example of his life and his fellowship with all who met him. And if I am anyone to speak , also to those who simply heard about his life and his dedication to the work of God.
May God Bless and Comfort and Guide and Strengthen the entire Bryan Family and all who feel their loss.
Rest in peace
A lovely and pleasant young man,who was exemplary to his pers.He was everything that is good about the youth in our church. Always polite with a lovely smile.
I am sure he has left a void in the lives of not only his wonderful parents and family but to anyone who has come into contact with him
Rev Tim had so much to offer. So much to share. He is now a star shining in his new home.R.I.P
My deepest condolence to sister Angella and the Bryan family. The peace of God be with you always.
Tim was a dedicated and talented colleague who always did all he could to help others - he never said 'no', even when having to work with in the Welsh language! God bless all who were close to him.
Inspiration
Tim, I didn't know that National would be your last convention. You were one of the people that I just took for granted was going to be there, year after year. But God had something else in mind and He knows what is best. But we haven't lost you, we know exactly where you are and look forward to seeing you again. You have reminded me that God does allow his saints to go through and that there is not a minute of life to be wasted. I will not be wasting my minutes with foolishness of this world. Thank you. Let God be praised for your life and all you did. See you later.
The Legend
Tim, you have truly had a huge impact. Words cannot express truly how I feel but you will be greatly missed by me and all the young people. I am grateful for all your encouragement and support over the years. You have been a great big brother and mentor challneging me and encouraging in the youth ministry and my own personal walk with God. You helped me through some hard times, the Lord knows. But you have run well and you have finished your course, I know you crowd in blinging and you are probably in owe of the splendor of God's glory. I am priviledged to have had you in my life and I know your legacy we continue through the lives of those you have touched with the help of God. My prayers and love are with Angela and the family and friends of Tim. May God's peace be with us all at this time and may the memories continue to bring joy to our hearts.
